My Favourite Film

The Harry Potter saga

mardi 14 mai 2013

There are many films that I would like to describe and talk about, but Harry Potter is better than others. So... I’ve chosen it.

The saga that I like the most is Harry Potter.
Beginning in 2001 and ending in 2011, the films are an adaptation of J.K Rowling’s books "Harry Potter".
The first film, "Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone" was a success. After that, 7 other films, adapted from the same saga, came out.

On the casting, there are Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, the hero, Rupper Grint as Ron Weasley, his best friend, Emma Watson, his other best friend and Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy, his enemy.
All of them became famous with those films.

That’s a fantastic saga which must be seen if you enjoy magic and adventure !

The movie tells the story of a wizard, who is called Harry Potter.
The action takes place when he was just a baby. The biggest dark wizard of the world, Lord Voldemort, has killed his parents and has tried to kill him as well, but Harry survived and the dark wizard disappeared.

After that, he is brought up by his uncle and aunt -who are muggles, simple humans- without knowing that he is a wizard, even if strange things happen when he is angry or scared.
But one day, on his 11th birthday, a man called Rubeus Agrid, who works at Hogwarts, the wizard’s school, tells him the truth and takes him to the wizard world.

Then, the story talks about his school years at Hogwarts, in particular his adventures with Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, his two best friends, his quarell with his enemy, Draco Malfoy and above all, his fight against Voldemort who comes back again and again to kill Harry because of a prophecy, which says...

But why don’t you watch the film and see what the story is about ?
