After the tragic death of Lily and James Potter, Harry is gathered by his aunt Petunia, the sister of Lily and his uncle Vernon. His uncle and his aunt, having a fierce hate towards the parents of Harry, mistreat him and leave their son Dudley humiliate him. Harry knows nothing about his parents. They always said to him that they had died in a car accident.
On his 11th birthday, a half giant of the name of Rubeus Hagrid comes to search him to take him to Poudlard, a school of sorcery. Hagrid reveals him that he is a wizard like his parents and that his parents were killed in reality by one of the biggest black magic of the world of sorcery, Voldemort, nicknamed "Celui-Dont-On-Ne-Doit-Pas-Prononcer-Le-Nom". Voldemort tried to kill Harry, but the lattest survived, by keeping a scar in the form of a flash of lightning on the forehead. Harry discovers then that he is a hero in the world of the wizards, because the spell which Voldemort cast on him to kill him turned against himself and the reign of the black magic stopped, thanks to him. Harry, nicknamed the survivor, is worshiped by the community of wizards.
Harry enters the wizards’ school therefore, Poudlard, where professor Albus Dumbledore is the guide. After selection by magical Choixpeau, he enters the home of Gryffondor and makes very good friends : Ron and Hermione, with whom he shares happy moments. Harry enters fast the team of Quidditch of his home, a very popular collective sports of the wizards being played on brooms steering wheels.
But Harry soon discovers the existence of a conspiracy inside Poudlard.
